The future of Kylian Mbappé continues to be a subject of speculation and media attention. Despite renewing his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in May 2022, rumors linking him to Real Madrid persist, and the Parisian management is already said to be working on a strategy to keep the player in their ranks.
Just over a year ago, PSG announced the contract extension of Kylian Mbappé, surprising many and dashing the hopes of Real Madrid, who had been longing for his signing. At that time, Mbappé justified his decision in a statement, expressing his desire to grow in Paris.
However, despite the promises and rumors that PSG had centered the project around Mbappé, the 2022/23 season has not exactly reflected that. The team did not reinforce with players and failed to build a competitive team around Mbappé.
In light of this situation, the question arises of whether Mbappé will stay at PSG next season. The striker himself has stated that he will remain in Paris, but this could be the club's last chance to convince him to extend his contract beyond 2024.
According to reports from L'Équipe and some Spanish media outlets, Mbappé's contract expires in June 2024, and the player would have to decide whether to extend it until 2025. Although the official statement from PSG indicates that the renewal is until June 2025, Mbappé has not commented on it.
