Carlo Ancelotti, the Italian coach, continues to emerge as a possible candidate to lead the Brazil National Team once his contract with Real Madrid expires in June 2024.
During the broadcast of the match between Brazil and Guinea in Barcelona, the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed that they had reached an agreement with Ancelotti to become the team's new coach and lead them during the 2026 World Cup.
Although Ancelotti would have to wait a year to assume the position, Brazil is willing to be patient and wait until his contract with Real Madrid ends, as they know it will be practically impossible for the Spanish club to let the coach go before that happens.
However, this means that he will miss four important matches in the South American qualifiers, but it is expected that he will be ready to join the team before the 2024 Copa America.
Ancelotti has the backing of the Brazilian players, who hold him in high esteem due to his experience at Real Madrid, where he has coached players such as Vinicius, Militao, and Casemiro. On the other hand, those who do not know him have the excitement of being able to work with him.
