According to various sources, Marco Asensio is very close to becoming a new player for Paris Saint-Germain, who is looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. As a result, Real Madrid has decided to finalize the return of Brahim Díaz to the white team, after some doubts about what to do with the current number 10 of AC Milan.
The Malaga-born player, who has been on loan at the Italian team for the past three seasons, will return to be part of Real Madrid's squad under the management of Carlo Ancelotti. He will provide a new attacking option, albeit in a slightly more central position than Asensio occupied.
Despite Milan's attempts to acquire the Spanish player's permanent ownership, as well as interest from some Premier League teams, the Santiago Bernabéu has chosen to close the return of Brahim for the next season and avoid additional expenses in that position.
With a contract that extends until 2025, Brahim represents the opportunity to add a seasoned player in a secondary role without having to spend a single euro, as reported by 'Relevo'. It is also noted that the Real Madrid board is working on a contract extension for the player, including an immediate salary increase.
The return of the 23-year-old player opens the door for Real Madrid to focus more effectively on negotiations for Jude Bellingham, as well as the search for a new right-back and a center forward, positions that have drawn all the attention of Florentino Pérez, who hopes to finalize two signings in the coming weeks.
